First Turkic States Ski Cup to be held in Uzbekistan

Between 17–20 February, with the support of the Organization of Turkic States and the Union of Ski Resorts of the Turkic States, the First Turkic States Ski Cup will be held at the Amirsoy Ski Resort in Uzbekistan.

The decision on this was taken during a meeting between Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Mirvohid Azimov and President of the Union of Ski Resorts of the Turkic States Rustam Najafov, held within the framework of the World Ski Mountaineering Cup organized at Shahdag Ski Resort.

The main purpose of the competition is to develop relations in the field of sports among the Turkic states, to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and friendship, and to increase interest in winter sports.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on issues related to the development and expansion of the Union of Ski Resorts of the Turkic States' activities in 2025, and proposals for projects and events planned for implementation were discussed.
