Who We Are

The Union of Turkic Ski Resorts was established on 23 September 2024 with the support of the Organization of Turkic States.

The primary objective of the Union is to consolidate the mountain resorts of Turkic states under a unified platform, to strengthen cooperation among these destinations, and increase their global attractiveness as leading tourism destinations.

The Union focuses on the development and implementation of joint projects aimed at the advancement of mountain resorts, the facilitation of the continuous exchange of information and expertise, and the development of specialized training programmes to train professionals in this field.

Furthermore, the establishment of coordinated marketing strategies, the organization of international events, the implementation of a unified Ski Pass system across member resorts, and the expansion of the Union's membership are the key priority areas of the Union.

The Union currently consist of Azerbaijan's "Shahdag" Mountain Resort and Tufandag Summer-Winter Tourism Complex, Kazakhstan's Shymbulak and Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resorts, Uzbekistan's Amirsoy Mountain Resort, as well as Türkiye's Uludağ, Ejder 3200, and Erciyes Mountain Resorts.

Within a short period since its establishment, the Union has successfully organized significant milestones, including the first Summit of The Union of Turkic Ski Resort at the Shahdag Mountain Resort, the Turkic Ski Cup hosted at Amirsoy and Uludağ Mountain Resorts, and an extensive strategic meeting for marketing and sales specialists at Erciyes Mountain Resort.

At present, the Republic of Azerbaijan performs the Chairing and Secretariat functions of the Union for a two-year term.
