The First Turkic Ski Cup Will Be Held in Uzbekistan

From February 17 to 20, the “Turkic Ski Cup” will take place at Amirsoy Mountain Resort in Uzbekistan, with the support of the Organization of Turkic States and the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts .

This decision was made during a meeting between Mirvohid Azimov, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, and Rustam Najafov, Chairman of the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts , held within the framework of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Shahdag.

The main goal of the competition is to promote the development of sports relations among Turkic States, expand cooperation and friendship ties, and increase interest in winter sports.

During the meeting, ideas were also exchanged regarding the development and expansion the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts in 2025, and discussions were held on proposed projects and events to be implemented.
